Precious Chinese medicines have different properties and storage methods. We must not generalize them. In case of improper storage, it may cause serious losses.
1. Gum: Ejiao, antler gum, turtle-board gum, turtle-deer Erxian gum, etc., are very easy to soften in heat and tide. It can be wrapped in oil paper to avoid high temperature and put in a cool, dry and ventilated place.
2. Antler: It can be wrapped in fine cloth, put in a little pepper, and then put in camphor wood box or lime box for sealed storage, which can prevent moth. Antler powder can be sealed in porcelain bottles.
3. Cordyceps sinensis: It can be wrapped in wool paper and placed in a dry quicklime box. Or put it in a box and put a little Danpi around it to prevent insects.
4. Ginseng: Place ginseng in glass bottle, cover with fried glutinous rice until yellowish, tighten the cap of the bottle and store it, it will not deteriorate for a long time.
Five, Gekko: for animal medicine, easy to mold. When stored, pepper can be put in proper containers and placed in grey boxes or in dry and ventilated places. Its tail is the main medicinal part and should be well protected.
6. Notoginseng: Easy to be eaten by insects. When stored, the cloth bags are placed in wooden boxes and then in quicklime VATS to keep them dry and insect-proof.
Seventh, bezoar, Pearl powder: can be filled in tight-mouth vials, sealed in a cool and dry place for preservation.
