First, the compatibility of traditional Chinese medicine taboos. Some drugs can produce opposite and vicious relationship after formulation, which can reduce the efficacy of each other or cause toxic and side effects. Therefore, it is taboo to use them together.

2. Taboos on medication for pregnant women. The main purpose is to avoid abortion and movable abortion. Because most of the pregnant women have poor tolerance to cold, fever, sharp diarrhea and slippery, blood-breaking, Blood-Stasis-Removing and toxic drugs, the related drugs must be avoided.

3. Dietary taboos. Commonly known as taboo, can avoid interference factors when taking medicine, improve the efficacy of drugs. Because traditional Chinese medicine contains starch, sugar, protein, vitamins, volatile oils, amino acids and various enzymes, trace elements and other components, most of these components are dissolved in the decoction. The general method is to take half of it while it is warm, and then half of it after 4 to 6 hours. If taken overnight or stored for too long, not only the efficacy of the drug is reduced, but also it may lead to the deterioration of the liquid.

Fifth, Chinese medicine should not be taken with sugar. Some people add sugar when taking traditional Chinese medicine because the soup is too bitter to swallow, but some traditional Chinese medicine is not suitable for taking after adding sugar. The medicine after adding sugar reduces the bitterness as well as the efficacy.
